Finally found the perfect layout for my blog!!! I’ve always been looking for something like this. I know I changed my layout few times before but I would always feel so-so about it. Now, this is really my style: simple, minimalist, and chic!
Thanks to Themes By Meg! Still in progress but I already did some modifications with fonts, color combinations, and background, and have personalized my banner :) Can’t wait to blog!
Take me back to the beach
*This post was written few days before this year’s trip last May 2-6. I was supposed to post this before I leave for Boracay, but things got really busy (as usual!). Anyway here it is.. Finally posting after 3 months! :p
So what really happens in Boracay? Why do we keep comin’ back? Let me make this super overdue mandatory late post of my Laboracay experience 2012 and 2013.
All photos are mine, taken mostly by me or my friends; unless stated otherwise :)
Okay so first, it starts with a group who’s G! Hello to my laboracay crew 2 years in a row!!
From the dieting (lol yup!!), planning, booking, budgeting, foodtripping, drinking, partying, brekky-ing (hahaha yes we eat brekky together), til our post Boracay clingy-ing!
Drinking all day-all night
Them boys sure have enough budget for this haha! As soon as we step into the Bora shore!! Alam naaaa :)) Red horse na yan! Altanghap! Ang gastos kaya! Buti pa us girls, we can manage to enjoy a drink or two of cocktail during the happy hour and also at the parties.
Sunset Party at Station 1 (here below is just about to start).
Clubbing at Night
Hahahaha oh gosh :))) Good music + crazy people!
Flying Fish - just one time. My first and last time hahaha.
Baby let’s chill
DOING NOTHING = BEST FEELING EVER. #nufsaid
Sunsets - aaaah eating some chorizo, or drinking some cocktail while seeing this? Take me back!!!
Camera on another camera :)
Group photos and pictorials—- my favorite part hahaha, well next to chillin’
Lol these guys! Puro kalokahan :))
Photography skillzzzz version 1.0
Photography skillzzzz version 2.0 haha. I’m so dark na here! This is our last day na from last year.
Well since we’re on a budget, we normally eat at Smokes, in d’Mall.
It’s really sulit and guaranteed, masarap! Actually it’s always full! Maybe the reason why they have two spots, one in the center of d’Mall, near Andoks (if I’m not mistaken), then also at the street leading to the main road, along the palengke. The choices are too much! Whatever you want! Budgeted, fancy or anything in between :) But please, skip them fastfood stuff.
Anyway there’s the chori burger anyone who’s been in Boracay is crazy about!!! Chorizo in a minibun. Yay cheap thrill! Then you also order some bbq and isaw! Perfect!! :) They say their sawsawan is the secret why it’s all so good!
Place to stay
Sorry I can’t tell you where we stay for private reasons (haha! showbizzzz!). But here’s a tip: stay in Station 2 where rates are just on the average. Plus it’s near food spots, near Epic (after the party, you don’t have to walk a long way or worse, take a tric going home). There’s just a LOT of choices! Best is you can ask someone’s who’s been there where they stay so you don’t have to go through the researching in the internet. Doesn’t matter if it’s not beachfront. All the rest are just a minute or less than a walk away from the beach.
“What happens in Boracay, stays in Boracay.”
When you’re there, you worry less, you’re carefree, you dance like no one’s watching, you scream and sing your heart out, you stop and not think of the busy city life and your work/studies, you get drunk, and just be yourself and enjoy moments, and yes, to fall in love sometimes (oh I know some people who did!!).
Last words though: party and drink responsibly! Enjoy and see ya there!! <3

Talking to myself
Okay first of all, hello to whoever reads this! Haha! Hiatus forever :))
I have no idea I’ve got a number of drafts in my blog already! Seems like I have been talking to myself! :| Anyway, in the next few days (i hope!), will finish what I started and post these drafts publicly (ie. the first one to be: my Laboracay post).
Hashtags selfie! #nomakeup ✔ #nofilter ✖ #selfie ✔ #ootd ✔
Right timing is everything.
Happy Easter Everyone!
Hope you all had a wonderful Easter celebration! I just got home* from easter mass & celebration at The Grand Easter Feast with family and my boyfriend’s family (♥ that’s a first!), followed by sumptuous lunch at Dampa! Yeyyyyy! I know it’s finally meat day but it’s not so bad to fiesta over more seafood: crabs, tempura, oysters, lapulapu, squid; our only meat: sinigang na baboy.
It’s also my family’s first time to eat at Dampa! Been wanting to bring them here but never had the chance. I only get to eat there during celebrations with boyfriend’s family. So happy to see my family happy with all these good food!
Anyway, Lenten season this year has been something rather different from my previous years. So many other firsts!
For the very first time in 3 years, I’m no longer working on the 2-day holiday. I used to work for other Asian countries counterparts, and since they don’t celebrate Lent like our country, I still come in to work. So this year, it’s really refreshing!
On Thursday, I stayed in bed all day since I was not feeling well due to my massive headache. I only felt better by afternoon of the next day, Black Friday, and so by early evening, like a family tradition, we went out to do the Stations of the Cross. My boyfriend finally had the chance to come with us! It’s his first time! Glad we did it at BGC Highstreet: Church Simplified’s Stations of the Cross, where you do not only read about the stations and pray, but there are acts/interaction.
Then Saturday, as we are still abstaining, I decided to cook for lunch—something out of the ordinary/usual food at home! Oh yes, COOK :P I don’t know why I am not fond of this but when I do cook, it always turns out good! (yabang!! haha) We’ve been having fish meals since Monday, so I was inspired to try cooking Aglio Olio pasta. It’s my first time!!! Result: 5 stars! Chos hahaha! No but really it’s so good. I learned I can actually do this as baon :) Speaking of baon, boyfriend took some for his takeaway home! Haha!
By late afternoon, we all went out to do Visita Iglesias. I haven’t done this in years!!! We went to three Manila churches: Minor Basilica of San Sebastian (where my friends wed a couple of years ago), St. Jude (where we prayed for our board exams during our CPA review days), and Binondo Church (first time to go here; however it’s closed when we went).
Then we ended the day with something I’ve been wanting to do for the love of Chinese food—foodtrip in Binondo!!! Too bad it’s not as lively as it should be on a normal day. But still we were able to enjoy Chinatown! We get to buy pasalubongs at Eng Bee Tin and Ho-Land! Some hopias, frozen balls, and the super addicting peanut cake (which is ubos na right now btw)!!!! Then we had dinner at the President’s Tea House :) This Binondo trip deserves a next time!
Anyway I didn’t expect this blog post to be this long. Ending it now with random photos from the past four days. :)
PS: *I just got home when I started this post by 6ish; but I watched some tv and ended after 3hrs. Haha.
